Lasse Brurok has been drawing since he was a little boy in Ranheim. His three years of 'drawing, shape and colour' at high school killed all the joy of drawing he had, but fortunately that was when he discovered the spray can. He took it with him into the Armed Forces, where he became known, among other things, for creating defense art while he was an officer in the Army.
In recent years, he has co-founded Bookis and developed into one of the country's most famous street artists, where he has decorated several well-known walls in Norway and abroad.
Today, Brurock creates art with clear messages that give you something to reflect on. His stoic philosophy and colorful personality shine through all his artwork, telling stories about things that really matter to him.
Lasse's first solo exhibition 'Remember You Will Die' will be held at Blank Galleri from 10 November to 27 November. You can find more information about the exhibition via this Facebook event.
